1 April 2024 | General Grants update: We are continuing to prioritise grants for our priority population groups and locations; However, we have a smaller grants budget this year which means we will unfortunately not be able to fund all organisations at the level we have previously. Please apply for what you need and if successful please expect that due to our budget constraints you may receive less than requested.

We prioritise funding to applications that:

  • support equity and inclusion in our communities
  • serve and are led by members of these priority population groups:
    • Māori
    • Pacific Peoples
    • Middle Eastern, Latin American, African
  • serve and are led by people who are part of communities living in these priority locations:
    • Ōtaki
    • Lower Hutt
    • Porirua

If you’re not actively serving our priority communities/locations, your chances of being funded are low

Can I get funding?

Are you a group in our region that is:

  • Mana whenua or Māori-led
  • Doing work that supports the advancement of Māori aspirations
Yes

Are you a priority group in our region that is:

  • Supporting communities experiencing inequity, exclusion, and disadvantage; or
  • Increasing preservation and protection of natural spaces
Yes
