Ross GrahamRoss has a professional background in government, but he has also been recognised for his outstanding contribution to sport in Wellington.

Ross was appointed to Wellington Community Trust (WCT) in June 2013.

For 41 years he was a professional public servant specialising in international marketing and trade policy. He was based overseas for 16 years, as New Zealand Trade Commissioner in Los Angeles, Vancouver, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney and Melbourne, and travelled widely with ministerial and trade missions.

Ross was Chair of Sport Wellington for 10 years and Sportnet New Zealand for 3 years. He is a past President and life member of the Wellington Rugby Football Club. In 2013 he received a Wellington City Council Absolutely Positively Wellingtonian Award for making ‘an outstanding contribution to our sporting community, our city and all Wellingtonians.

Being a trustee of the Wellington Community Trust has increased his appreciation of the role and contribution of the numerous arts and cultural communities within our region.

Ross is married to Lynda. They have 2 adult children who both live overseas. His interests include travel, reading, going to the gym and watching sport. He is a passionate Wellingtonian.
