Gerardine Clifford-LidstoneGerardine Clifford-Lidstone has extensive experience in developing strategies and support for Pacifica peoples, communities and organisations.

She was appointed to the Wellington Community Trust (WCT) in 2010 and became Chair in May 2016.

She has specific expertise working with Pasifika peoples, communities and organisations. She has held a number of roles in the public and non-government sectors, most recently as a Senior Consultant with Pacific Perspectives, a private consultancy that provides advice to a wide range of organisations and companies who provide services to Pacific communities in New Zealand and the Pacific. This advice includes research, business and organisational analysis and development, leadership development and policy advice.

Gerardine has a BA in Education, an MBA and has completed an executive programme in Business Finance at Harvard School of Business. She has also held governance roles in a range of community and not-for profit organisations at both local and national levels. These roles are important to her work as a trustee – she enjoys the cultural, sporting, environmental and community brilliance that the Wellington region has to offer.

Born and raised in Seatoun, Gerardine now lives in the inner city. She is mother to Matteo and Roma, and stepmother to Cameron and Georgia. Her husband Leigh is a teacher.
