The Wellington Community Trust is seeking a Community Engagement and Funding Manager.

Are you passionate about the not for profit sector?  Do you care about resourcing and supporting community initiatives?  Are you an excellent networker with good analytical skills and sound judgement?  Do you want to make a difference in the Wellington region through funding community organisations?  Then we want to hear from you!

We are on the hunt for an energetic, organised and on to it community engagement and funding manager to join our small but mighty team.  To be successful in this role you will have some knowledge and experience in working in the not for profit sector and/or within the philanthropic world.  You will need to demonstrate good decision-making skills and report writing experience. Previous experience with a grants management system or databases would be an advantage.  You will need to be someone who can connect with a diverse range of community members and organisations and someone who is passionate about making a difference in the Wellington region.

In return we offer flexible working conditions in a forward-thinking team dedicated to excellence in philanthropy.  We are interested in trying new things, and committed to drinking a lot of tea.  If this sounds like you, even if you’re a coffee drinker, get in touch.

If you’d like to discuss the role you can call Georgie on 021 181 3400.  A copy of the job description can be downloaded here
