  • Endowments, capital funds, and other trust funds holding investments
  • Core healthcare services, including primary and secondary health services e.g. GP
  • Individuals, including scholarships and organisations that provide individual scholarships
  • Schools (including childcare centres, kindergartens, ECEs, and universities), organisations whose primary purpose is to fundraise for schools, and organisations whose work directly connects to the NZ Curriculum. This exclusion applies to activities that take place on educational institution grounds and to any school-based educational support like tutoring, disability support, etc.

  • Retrospectively
  • Core healthcare services, including primary and secondary health services
  • Promotion of a religious or political message (we do fund faith-based community services)
  • Activities that take place on educational institution grounds and to any school-based educational support like tutoring, disability support, etc.
  • Medical procedures and treatment (including screening, diagnosis, and vaccination); medical equipment; medical research; professional respite care
  • Festivals, exhibits, museums, galleries, and other attractions that are designed for the general population
  • any other exclusions as approved by the Trustees
